3DO release regions?

Post by Bas » Sun Jan 14, 2007 8:06 pm

Hi! Welcome, who thought CDinteractive would expand to other exotic formats like 3DO? I hope this is the beginning of a new world of information for me, because I don't know much about 3DO. I think that's because it wasn't available (widely?) in Europe, was it? I'm not sure, but perhaps some of you know. I've never seen it in the Netherlands. Even like obscure formats like Sega CD and Jaguar I've seen VERY scarcely, and it's because Philips is a dutch company now we had the most releases and resources of CD-i right here.

Wasn't 3DO magazine a European publication? It was/is a great source of 3DO info, much better than it's American equivalent, 3 magazine.

So, not a lot of european 3DO enthusiasts then? I would expect them to know stuff like this...

I've never seen it in the shops however, in the early ninetees, all they had was Nintendo NES/SNES, Sega Master System/Mega Drive/Sega CD, Atari Jaguar, Philips CD-i, .... can't remember anything else :)
