The Great 3DO Game Raffle! WINNERS DRAWN

Post by T2KFreeker » Mon Feb 27, 2012 3:32 am

Okay, so I have been blessed this last year with some good fortune in 3DO. I have a couple doubles here for the member here. Here is the deal, you either need 50 plus posts or good rep from someone here to enter. Also, please do not just pop these onto epay, I want these games to go to users that want to experience them. These games work. They are not complete, but are in damn good condition. Also, obviously, if you already have these games, please refrain from entering because, as I stated, I would like 3DO gamers that have not experienced them, or don't have them, to get them. I appreciate it! I will be drawing for these on April 2nd, 2012. Good luck all.

Games

AD&D Slayer - Loose Copy of said game, but in good working order. It comes in a generic CD case.

Wing Commander III - The game does not have the long box. It does, however, come in the two double jewels and have all four discs and instruction manual is included!

There you go and have at it.

Entrants:
AD&D Slayer
Alfredhitchcacku
FrumpleOrz
Qcombus

Wing Commander III
Alferedhitchcacku
Mobius
Bonefish
JohnnyDude
Trev

WINNERS

SLAYER: Alfredhitchcacku
Wing Commander III: JohnnyDude

Send me a PM with your addresses and we will work it out.

First of all, the genorosity can't be thanked enough. There's no reason to go out of your way to give people games besides the goodness in your heart. :)

Secondly, I had some questions regarding the contest. I'm guessing I just comment to enter? If so, I guess/hope I'm in! Also is there one win, one person gets both games?

Either way, I am without either of these games and good luck to anyone else who might enter!

Yup, just say that you want in and no, there will be two drawings for both games, so you might win one and not the other or get extremely lucky and win both. You don't have to enter to win both games either. If you have one and not the other, just enter to win one, just make it clear which you want.

This is a truly cool idea. That's awesome. Could you put me in for Slayer?

Man, I don't know how to say how much I like this idea without coming across as ungrateful, you know? I dunno. It's always been my biggest issue in life is popping words out properly but this is some brilliant stuff you're doing. You're wanting people to actually play some more of the games that are out there. The Gospel of 3DO, if you will, I guess. It's truly wonderful.

That's very generous of you!

I'd be interested in trying Wing Commander III finally. But I'm about to go on a 8 hour roundtrip drive tomorrow to pick up a 3DO and 80-some games and I'm unsure if Wing Commander III will be in there. I will know soon enough!

Well I don't think I quite qualify to enter but I just want to say that this is a great idea you have and it really makes the 3DO community a great one.

Star posting. Not just lame posts either. If you get to 50 before the drawing, you could enter. Start some new conversation about the 3DO. The siter needs it anyway!

I honestly hope the winners actually receive their prizes.

Over a year ago (around the 28th November 2010) someone of high esteem in this forum held a competition which I won.

I never received the prize. Maybe it got lost in the mail... :?

Please tell me you are not talking about the Policenauts game that you won in my competition...

If so, it would have been nice to let me know that you didn't receive the game (before now, over a year later).

If I had known I could have at least inquired to the Post Office - not that it would have produced any results. I'll send you another Policenauts game from my collection if you can PM me your mailing address again.

When I never heard from you, I just assumed you received the game and didn't bother saying thank you.

Wow, thanks for allowing me to participate. The game I'd really like to get is slayer because ever since Martin III started his thread about it I have been itching to play it. Also it looks pretty similar to deathkeep wich is a good thing since I've really enjoyed that game.

Well, you could put me in for disc 4 of WCIII. Some of the fmv skips on mine ... I can never pick Flint or Rachel for instance, and have to beat the game as a lonely bachelor.

You could, however, in that case I would at least need you to cover shipping as shipment would be a bit. If you are willing to do so, let me know and I'll put you in the drawing.
