That was a pre-order bonus through select retailers in the US. I didn't pre-order, so I didn't get a code.Trev wrote:Did you get a download code for the 3D Classic version with it?
Back in the day, I have to admit I did not play this game. I have tried it on emulators, and I really want to like the game. It is brutal though! After many many attempts I finally beat the first freaking level! haw! I just can't appreciate the game as much as it's sister game that came out the same day using the same engine... METROID! That game is brutal too for most people. To me, that game is a walk in the park. I still enjoy playing that game every now and then. I have more nostalgia memories with metroid, but I still plan on beating the original Kid Icarus one of these days.3DO Experience wrote:Ok show of hands, who actually played this game back in the day?
And more about Uprising! Not only is the gameplay fun, the graphics, music, dialogue, and presentation are all top notch! There is some pretty funny dialogue I find myself laughing at like I was watching a comedy. It's good fun, and I've only played two chapters.
The 3DS stand that comes with the game also helps out alot. I played a chapter last night without the stand and I kept moving the 3DS out of the sweet spot for 3D. I only did it a couple times, but the stand makes playing the game much easier while playing at a table. It was a nice and well thought out accessory.
