how to write C/C++ source code for 3DO?

HI All,
I want some sample C/C++ source codes for 3DO and the procedure to run those code ( probably using cygwin and GNUARM and FreeDO emulator as i Have downloaded them) any link or ebook will help me further?Actually i am interested in knowing what all is possible in a 3DO operating system(i mean what all applications can be developed for it).
