Halloween/Holiday programming fun

Post by a31chris » Sun Sep 06, 2015 8:54 pm

Back in the 80s when I was going to school and owned an Atari 800xl the computer magazines would have those programs you can type in every month in BASIC for the major PCs of the day. IBM, IBM PCjr. TRS-80, Apple. Atari, Commodore. Ti/994a etc. Well during the holidays like Halloween they would have cool little Halloween graphic programs to type in.

One year was a screen sized flashing pumpkin. Another was a house with 4 windows with a chimney. When the program ran a ghost would fall down the chimney and then 4 ghosts would rise up in the windows and dance to some music playing. Stuff like that.

So my hope and thoughts were some graphically minded Jaguar programmers here would like to enjoy the Halloween and Holiday season with short small fun graphical programs like that. Hopefully share the source code to show others how simple graphics were done etc.

So any graphic programmers love Halloween and want to celebrate the holidays on the Jaguar? :)

As simple as a pumpkin on the screen or as complex as:
