Ridiculous Ebay auction.

Post by Hound » Thu Oct 25, 2007 4:00 am

Some people just don't have a clue. Really. Check out this auction.

http://cgi.ebay.com/brand-new-wireless- ... dZViewItem

They show a nice boxed set of controllers, then say there is no box included. Ok, whatever, no problem. Then they update, practically threaten everyone with impending doom and claim that these wireless controllers are so rare, they haven't been seen on Ebay in THREE years.

Well, not unless you count the 2 other sets for sale(just search for 3do wireless) and the 3-5 sets in the completed auctions list. And most of those are the SAME Naki controllers this person is selling.

The only thing that hasn't been seen in three years, is the sellers intelligence.

not only that the seller is now threatening the watchers to bid - otherwise he will end the auction and keep them to himself and won't be seen on eBay ever again.....

Say what~?! -__-;;

That's also a lie - I've seen them on ebay a few times.

The guys description pissed me off, so I reported it for excessive shipping charges.

lol, the auction has been removed. Last I saw it was up to 12 something. I wonder if the incompetent seller removed it because it was about to end with low bids or if Ebay did because of complaints. Either way, good riddance.

What we should do is monitor this seller - and when he lists them again start a campaign to get as many watchers as possible. Just for giggles. ;)

I thought the seller was never gonna auction these again?

http://cgi.ebay.com/brand-new-wireless- ... dZViewItem

I'm still wondering why they are showing the box, but only selling the controllers. It's not a stock photo, so they had to have taken the photo themselves most likely. Odd. I wanna be threatened again though, so I'm gonna put it on watch.

I'm watching too :lol:

Judging by "her" conduct on the first auction and what she bought:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0183124351

She's a yuppie wannabe driving an old BMW. FAIL.
