Wich was the last game that you bought/played?

The one that make you think: "This is it.. the end is near.. I'll buy me a Playstation or something"..

Mine was Killing Time and Starfighter.. I could'nt believe that those games were out and almost nobody cared for the system anymore..

I rarely keep tabs on things. So, even though we were upto the Dreamcast and the PS2 before it dawned on me proper that the 3DO was over.

I guess I figured something was rotten around the time of Bladeforce.

i knew it was over in 1997 when you could get a system for $40

i was one of the lucky ones that didnt pay the $300 to $700 price tag
i rarely buy systems at launch time or even around launch time

My brother used to bust my balls about playing 3do in the late 90's along side Playstation and N64. But it had many good games was my argument, even if it was old. Guess who eventually played it and ended up thinking Guardian War is one of the best games ever...

My collection is rather limited in the company of this site (only around 25 games, only ones I felt compelled to play). Some would say that their "Shwartz" is bigger than mine.

I knew by early '96 that the end was approaching for 3DO I. I think the last game that I bought while 3DO still had a full prescence at Game shops was either Olympic Summer Games or Robinson's Requiem.

Here in Brazil 3DO was never too popular, because of it's price. the console was never oficcialy launched around here, and needed to be imported. In fact, probably more people knows about the system today than in the time he was (kinda of) big.

The last game rewiewed in Brazillian GAMEPRO was Casper, but back then everybody was crazy about Playstation and the Brazilian Saturn, and nobody noticed the price drop and the amazing games that came out in the final days.

i remember noticing the 3do magazine, here in england, getting thinner and thinner with less previews each month and not being very happy with repeats of demos (i bet there are a few 3do owners with a copy of streetfighterII and 2-four character demos :) ).
my main gripe though was waiting ages for MK3, only for it to never show.
