Where did they get their info ...?

Why are the graphics so bad?

Pulled off the shelf in 1995?

Very few titles available?

Army men released for 3DO? (and as a notable game!)

:?

:x

They should be shot.

They ask the question: "Why are the graphics so bad?" and then follow that question up with a screen shot of Road Rash which looks absolutely beautiful - especially when taking the time frame that is being discussed into consideration. :?

I understand that they are probably trying to use the paint strip in the screen shot to illustrate their claim of games being "blocky", but come on - "Why are the graphic so bad?" ???? Bad with respect to what? What a stupid question.

No kidding! I swear with mis-information like this, it's no wonder most people won't give the 3DO a 2nd look.

This is good, I like this:
"Why Are The Graphics So Bad?
Because the games were on CD-ROM media, it was able to store a lot of cutscenes. However, this resulted in too heavy a focus on the videos in between actual gameplay, and the latter suffered as a result. Even so, the cutscenes were often pixelated and blocky, much like the gameplay graphics."
Ahhhhh CD made the graphics bad. I see now. That makes sense.

I am insensed. So I did some digging.

So, I thought this crap was going to be written by a women. I don't know why. I just suspected that was going to be the case. It was just so wrong. That well... anyway. It wasn't, it was written by the n00b Michael Kwan.

Kwan is a Korean name. Those guys are supposed to be gaming animals. This guy is gaming muppet. That didn't make sense either.

So... drum-roll please -- I'm going to get him.

Plus he's a self professed Nintendo-fanboy... So I have no pity for him, and I'll show him no mercy...

Oooh, that made me mad.

"Michael Kwan is a freelance writer based out of Vancouver. He is an avid video game player, having grown up around the likes of a pudgy plumber, a blue hedgehog, and a world warrior named Ryu. And oh yes, he can't stop playing with his Wii. "

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! MY BRAIN IMPLODED. And some internal organs are ruptured.

(Although Ryu is pretty cool actually)

The worst kind too it seems. I admit I am a fan of Nintendo's games, but c'mon! Other than the 2600 & the psp he has never owned a non-Nintendo console in his life!

Looking forward to the outcome of his ... 'education' at the hands of 3DOKid.

This kid looks like 12 but writes like 8.
Calls himself "editor" and stuff like that.

Take a ape give him some drugs and 5 minutes,
the results would be much better.

He needs to be sentenced to life with an apple pippin.
If his rckoning is correct and discs are the source of all evil then the only machine capaple of decent graphics at the moment is the NDS! Wow this guy knows his stuff
