3DO Tomy software

Post by bitrate » Mon Jul 21, 2008 4:15 am

Does anyone know what this disk is about? My copy is factory sealed and I hate opening things like this.
My guess is that it is some sort of product catalog although there aren't any indicators one way or the other on the packaging.

Ah, thank you.
Makes sense. You'd think they would dress up the cover a little more for a fighting game, but then again, after looking at some of the demo's for other Japanese games this is almost ornate in comparison.

Heh, true true. I was hoping for an early version of it when I bought it. I found it interesting the subtle differences in the demo for Sailor Moon. Seemed like a slightly earlier build. YuYu seems more like a direct step down from the final game itself. Eh, I guess we can't watch the development of a game in as much detail as the various POed demos.

Heck thats one of the reasons why I still collect demo discs, simply for the unreleased, and early versions of games.

PO'ed demos? Hmm are these demos in other games & sampler discs or are they stand alones?

Mostly the demos on the various samplers, though there is a beta floating on the net as well.

Wow, nice collection. Will those games play on a normal 3DO system, or do they only run on a debug station?

All of the above pictured software is unencrypted, so either a testing station or dev hardware is required to run them.

Nice collection Bitrate. Nice to see another person with a near psychotic addiction to beta and unreleased software like myself.

Thanks. I'm with you on loving early builds of games - especially 3DO.
