compiling 3do game lists

Post by mattyg » Fri Jul 25, 2008 7:38 am

Putting together a comprehensive gaming list of 3do is just about impossible - I also realise that not everyone wants to reveal what they have which is fair enough - but I would like to propose that someone trusted could compile a list from pm's. Along with the service guide we have the opportunity to become the worlds leading database of all things 3do. I'm not sure if this is a direction we want to take but am interested in everyones thoughts.

i have no problem showing what i own for the 3do :)

i have all the US released game boxes scanned already (front and back)
others could help with the UK/Japan/korean/other released games

putting them in a nice looking format (something like atariage or even that classicgaming site with the 3do game/hardware scans already) might be the hardest part of this entire thing

See that little link below in my signature? Follow it and you'll have a large list of games you can easily copy.

I wasn't talking about a U.S list or a Japan list but a complete as we can get it list - I have titles that some people have but not others and I'm sure that its the same with a lot of us- if we all combine our lists we may just get close to the holy grail of having a complete index. Let us use our power for good! 8)

Or we could just ask Bitrate to write down all his games and post them. that way we would have almost every game that exists for the 3do from one guy ... lol

The conspiracy part of my psyche likes to think that the 3do Kid is really Trip Hawkins in disguise and Bitrate Is really Dave Needle !

LOL

Actually there is a pretty good list:
TOSEC ISO - Dats & Cuesheets (TOSEC-v2008-07-06)

after you download the RAR look in it for the "REAL 3DO Interactive Multiplayer" zip files. You'll not only get the name of the game but the year it came out, the publisher, country and other useful stuff.

The most up to date tosec 3do list can be found here

http://www.toseciso.org/list.php?sys=8

The list will only have games that have been dumped.

USA games should be complete minus a few discs needing a 2nd dumper to verify.
JAP is missing about 30 known games, plus a ton of verifies needed.
PAL/EURO is missing an unknown number of games. I don't collect these (yet), so I am unsure how many are left.
30 or so Korean games have been identified but none found/dumped.

If anyone is interested in helping let me know :)

:D Heh, I'm working on it.
Of all titles released (that I have either heard of or have seen pictures of) for the 3DO system worldwide, I seem to be missing about 6 or 7.
I'm sure more will turn up as time goes on. Every single time I approach what I think are the final few games that I need to get to complete my collection, more titles turn up. Hell, I just got two Japanese titles a month ago that I had never even heard of before.

Is there a listing of these Korean games that have been identifiied?

The LG model shows up now and again. Not very common on English oriented e-bays. Persnoally I never liked the look of the Gold Star so it's not like I'm gonna go buy a 3DO Alive. I think they look too much like a VCR.
