Hmm, I seem to have found a little surprise on my doorstep. I wonder what it could be?

Let's open it up and have a look...
Image

What? Could it be? Let's get this packing material out of the way...
Image

Nice! Fully boxed/sealed copies of Starblade and PaTaank! I wonder what else is in here...
Image

Hey, this is pretty sweet, I could use a bigger 3DO library. Is there anything else in here?
Image

Oh wow, even more. How many games are in here?
Image

Okay, this is the last of it, right?
Image

No?
Image

Oh my god they just keep coming. I must be getting close to the end, though...
Image

Holy crap, there's still more. But now I can see the box, so this must be it!
Image

Yep, that's it. Phew, that was a lot!
Image

What a sweet haul... This should keep me busy for a while.

For the record, I will be opening and playing them all! I've started with Gridders and Starfighter. Thumbs up to both of them so far. Gridders is clever, and I'm a sucker for adventure/puzzle games. Starfighter is technically impressive with a kickass soundtrack.

Also, I got them from gameexpress.com. Quick shipping and great prices.

I think I must have gotten the last copy of Mazer, because I don't see it up there anymore.

GameExpress??? OMG Do you know how many times I have tried to order stuff from them? That's my copy of Zhadnost and PO'ed you have there. They take my order and never charge me!

They have Out of this world brand new!?
I've been looking for that for a while.

Too bad it's so complicated to ship outside of the U.S. :(

A little out of topic but if someone could help me by buying it then sending it to me in Canada (I'll pay all fees of course) I would be very grateful.

I would help, but they refuse to sell to me and won't even answer my e-mails. Why don't they like me? :(

Duh, girls aren't really on the internet, so they never get your order.

Actually, I dunno, that's strange. I placed an order late Tuesday night and it was shipped early Wednesday afternoon.

Nice scrore dude. Been quite some time since I saw some sealed minty 3DO games. Also, you might want to check out Gooddealgames. They have a pretty nice selection of new 3DO games and they do answer their orders.
This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!

Sealed Zhadnost is quite sweet w/the bonus controller! Awesome package!

Scan if you find any cool pamplets or advertising what not please.

Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, but I suppose I could post pictures if someone wants to see something in particular. Gridders just came with a registration card, but Star Fighter came with a whole bunch of inserts:

A Studio 3DO advertisement printed on cardstock. One side has screenshots and blurbs for several games, like PO'ed, Captain Quazar, Star Fighter, Doom, Killing Time, etc. The back has a little blurb about Studio 3DO and information about 3DO direct.

An ad for the 3DO Games Secrets books.

A warranty registration card.

A signup card for the 3DO club.

And, probably the most interesting thing, a 3DO Direct catalog. It has a listing for pretty much every game plus hardware and official merchandise like shirts and hats. It's interesting to see the original prices for some of this stuff, since I didn't get into the 3DO until '99 or so. The 11th Hour was supposed to come out December '95 and was going to be $69.95! Shockwave, Road Rash, StarBlade, and SSFIIT were just as expensive, but most games clocked in at $59.95. (I think we can add high software prices to the list of reasons the 3DO failed, and not just high hardware prices!) Also, there was apparently a controllerless package for Zhadnost, which I was not aware of.
