Neo Organic Bioform - Help!!!

Post by Trev » Wed Apr 22, 2009 2:48 am

How in the world do I play this game? It looks so cool (In that "I'm a 3DO geek" kinda way) but I have zero clue how the combat works. Any hints or tips would be appreciated immensely!

1 week later and still no help??? Unacceptable! I know others own this game, so either pony up w/the help, or admit that you are clueless like us.

Please. :)

Hmm seems like the game could be interesting. I see that you have line up your attack in the left box by hitting up or down to start the line, and hitting a to stop it. then you gotta hit left or right to start the next line and line it up with the other line and hit A. But im not so sure I am hitting the correct spots and it seems like I always get hit everytime and I eventualy die. Im not even sure If im actually hitting the other.... thing.

I've figured it out! ok on the fix screen you have to assign points or you wont get spots to line up to on your box (left side) you just have to get both lines lined up before your opponent to land a hit. This should be what needs to be done for the majority of the game, if sure you can level up and get more points to assign. Let me know if I need to explain this better.

Here some more hints. For the first part it will be the horizontal line. If you push down the line will start from the top and go down. If you push up it's the opposite. So depending on what spot you want to hit, plan it out for the shortest distance. This same tactic applies to the vertical line (left/right). Seems like after you destroy a monster you get to add more points. When you find out more, we can combine/clean up the info and add it to the Game Guide forum. It will be a great addition. All we need is a translation for all the talking that goes on. Who knows, maybe its not important.

Still would be nice to know what was being said, like what 3DOKid did w/the Dr. Hauzer translation. Anyway, I'm trying it right now ...

How'd it go? Get it figured out? It seems the game is interesting but I just dont have time to sink into it right now. Busy with inventory at work and Im also attempting (for the third time i think) to learn C++ in my spare time.

Well, I managed to best 2 enemies! :)

After that I roamed the empty hallways looking for more, but none showed up.

I did find a couple rooms w/keypads, and by punching random #'s I managed to get some messages and actually acquire some items, but am stuck from here. What codes do I need, and where do I get them? When & how do I use the items? And where are the rest of the enemies?

I saved so I will return, but it is perplexing. Appreciate your tips on the combat though.
