I'm not sure what type of music you folks are into. I'm mostly into black metal but I listen to just about everything. Lately I've been listening to mostly ambient and darkwave stuff and I'm interested in hearing some music with very bombastic, militant drumming.
If any of you guys know of any artist that has drumming like this:

Then lemme know...

heh the last thing i listened to was a beatles album, and that was just to test if the cd worked
i dont even have a cd player of any kind anymore, except for my dvd/cdi player and computer, and the last cd player i bought was in 1990
i used to listen to metallica, korn, megadeth, sevendust, type o negative, tool, godsmack, rammstein, just to name a few of the harder stuff, rammstein is the only thing close to that mp3 you posted, that i listened to
from the looks of it i stopped listening to music in the late 90's
i think it happened when i realized music CDs would never come down in price (like cassettes did, and which i have over 200 of), and all the used ones i wanted were scratched to hell, i dont even download music
im more of a talk radio guy now, Stern and then local talk shows (nothing political/religious, i get enough religious crap when i pick up my house phone)

oh god. I must be the oldest, uncoolest person alive. I suspected Devin was a bit of nerd, but Jesus - I'm so dead. I'm the nerdest, nerd of all time. And now? I feel old.
Apparently 30% of the world buys exclusively with-their-eyes. Which means that they buy what they like the look of: Cars, clothes, people, etc! The rest is split between audio people, people who buy with their ears and people who buy with both.
I never listen to music. But I'm such a geek, I looked into the science behind why i don't listen to music.
I used to like The Mission, The Cure, WASP, Metallica, Sisters of Mercy, that sort of thing. ...but only to get into the pants of women. Women that wore all black. That was it really. ...and now I'm old.
...and when techno became popular, Altern8, Beltram, 808 State, Prodigy but only to get into the ... (you see where it's going!)
...no taste you see.

How lame.
I'd never sell out or change myself just to get some chicks.
