for me its the FZ10. because i like top door models
i havent heard of any problems with the FZ10 (except for stuff comming loose inside during shipping, same goes for the FZ1 also), but the FZ1 the CD drawer can quit, or it blows a fuse

both are good machines tho, either one will give you years of enjoyment :)

the FZ1 needs a sampler CD with a storage manager on it to remove saved files from the unit or a game that will let you delete other files to make room for the save you want to make, the FZ10 is some kind of button combination i forgot what it is right now

nice grab on that FZ1

the SNES adaptor is going to be alot harder to get ahold of, but the only place ive seen them is on ebay, and you might have to wait awhile to see one, or maybe someone here has an extra

if you check each system auction you might have a better chance at seeing one

Only $46 shipped? Pretty sweet deal, especially since Guardian War & Samurai Shodown are 2 of the systems best!

Sadly I don't have any extra contollers to sell or trade, but check out some of the sites that deal w/used vintage games (I think there is a list in the marketplace forum) Controllers usually pop up for pretty reasonable $$ ... not sure about the adapters though.

Thanks for all the help and info guys. I play my 360 alot but i wanted a 3do for years just never picked one up, now i see its going to be a challenge to get all the good games without spending a fortune lol. So what are the best games to pick up? Probably going to go with adventure games as the 3d games are probably going to show there age :), and also fighting games. Wants so far : road rash, nfs, alone in the dark (both), always wanted way of the warrier, street fighter 2, and gex. Any goodies im missing? thanks again

ps. Also is guardian war hard to find as it doesent seem like my kind of game so maybe ill sell it or try and trade it for something :) ?

heh if you want a challenge way of the warrior is the one to get (its horrible)
all the other ones are good to get
Guardian War is very common, i knew a guy in 2004 who had cases and cases of them, i got a sealed one for $2. no idea about todays ebay but it seems most of the games are going for alot more then they used to

check out 3DOKIDS blog tons of reviews and screenshots

For adventure games, Lost Eden is great! A bit slow, but terrific graphics & music (not to mention voice acting too!) Flashback is also an all time classic that had nicely updated 3DO cinemas. A must own!

For fighting you may want to check out Ballz the director's cut. 3DO also has a good port of Primal Rage.
